2008 OLDER AMERICANS PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

Executive Director Pamela K. Matura of the Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. (AAA7) announces the fifth annual Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. Older Americans Photography Contest, offering local amateur photographers of any age, the opportunity to enhance the image of older persons to all generations through photographs. Photo entries should include at least one older person or groups of older people and should reflect the photographer’s interpretation of the theme: “Aging Well, Living Well.” Intergenerational photos are allowed and encouraged, but at least one person in the submitted photo must be a verifiable age of 65 years or older at the time of the photo.

Photo entries will be displayed with award ribbons at the AAA7 Annual Art Show scheduled for May 19 through May 30, 2007 at the Esther Allen Greer Museum and Gallery on the campus of the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio. Contestants will not be notified of award placement prior to the Art Show. T

Photos submitted may be used by the Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. for publications, web site, and/or exhibits. By entering this contest, each contestant agrees to assign all copyright, trademark, and all other intellectual property rights in their photo to the Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. A model release form must be signed by each person pictured in the photo for it to be considered in the Contest.
