Area Agency on Aging District 7 Hosts
19th Annual Senior Art Show and Essay/Poetry Contest

         Executive Director Pamela K. Matura announces the 19th Annual Area Agency on Aging District 7 Art Show is now on display. The show is open Monday through Friday, until April 13 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on the campus of the University of Rio Grande, in the Atrium of the Fine and Performing Arts Building. The annual "Meet to the Artists and Authors Tea" will be April 4, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. This event is open to the public and all are invited. Executive Director Matura said, "It is wonderful to see all the fabulous paintings this year. I am very impressed with the written essays and poems that have been submitted."

    Community Relations Coordinator Sharon Bowman for the Area Agency said, "It is been great working with the Art Show Committee. In the past, it took three days to hang all the pictures and three days to tear down the show. Now we do it in one day."
