Gulley Promoted to New Position

The Area Agency on Aging
District 7, Inc. (AAA7) is looking to the future in
long term care services within its Home Care Division.
Debbie Gulley, RN, has assumed the new position as RN
Clinical Manager to provide guidance to all clinical
supervisors and clinical line staff and serve as
clinical medical consult for the division in regard to
current and future long-term care practices.
In her new role, she will oversee Home Care policies
and procedures and implementation of such policies.
Several new initiatives are upcoming that span the
continuum of care across the aging network and she
will be responsible for clinical medical consultation
of acute case management practice. As RN Clinical
Manager, she will participate in strategic planning
for program development and implementation of the
agency’s advances in managed care practice.
Debbie graduated from Holzer Medical Center School of
Nursing and Ohio University earning a Bachelor of
Science in Nursing. She has been employed in long term
care services since 1982 working in both nursing homes
and community based care settings.
While employed in the nursing home setting, she served
as Director of Nursing, Nurse Aid Program Training
Coordinator, and Care Planning/Documentation
coordinator.
Since coming to AAA7 in 1992, she has provided case
management and supervisory services in the PASSPORT,
Residential State Supplement, and Care Coordination
programs. In addition she has assisted with planning
and providing training for staff in nursing
facilities, group homes, community agencies, and the
Area Agency on Aging.
