Dan & Sharon Daniels Honored

Ohio’s First Lady, Hope Taft, honored 20 couples at the Governor’s Residence on February 10, 2006. Dan and Sharon Daniels from Waverly, Ohio, was one couple that was honored.

Mr. and Mrs. Daniels have been married for 50 years and volunteering for nearly 20. At the Pike County Outreach Council Food Pantry, they transport food, stock shelves, work food drives and distribute food. They also deliver Meals-On-Wheels and are active members and volunteers at the Dailyville Freewill Baptist Church, where Dan does maintenance and Sharon is an organist and missionary chair.
