Charles Harper Elected to the AAA7’S Board of Trustees

The Area Agency on Aging District 7 (AAA7) Executive Director Pamela K. Matura announces that Charles Harper was elected to the Board of Trustees. The AAA7 Board of Trustees is the 15-member governing body for the agency which serves ten counties. The counties are Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto and Vinton.

Mr. Harper retired from the Lawrence County Dept. of Job and Family Services where he held the position of Social Services Administrator. However, after his retirement he launched another career with the Ironton Lawrence County CAO Head Start as Project Manager.

Mr. Harper serves as secretary-treasurer of United Way in his community and is an elder at his church.

Executive Director Matura said, “I am pleased to have Mr. Harper on our Board. His experience with Lawrence County Dept. of Job and Family Services and Ironton Lawrence County CAO Head Start will be a tremendous asset for him as he serves on the AAA7 Board of Trustees. Mr. Harper is always willing to help and assist in any way he can.”
