24th Annual Senior Citizens Art Show & Essay/Poetry Contest

RIO GRANDE, OHIO - The Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. (AAA7) will host its 24th Annual Senior Citizens Art Show and Essay/Poetry Contest on May 15th through 26th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. each day in the Esther Allen Greer Museum and Gallery on the campus of the University of Rio Grande, Rio Grande, Ohio.

Anyone who is 55 years of age or older may participate. The Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. requests no more than five entries in the Art Show per participant, and no more than five entries in the Essay/Poetry Contest per participant. In addition, all Art Show entries must be suitable to be displayed on the walls. Those who wish to indicate their work is for sale may do so. Essays, Poetry and Artwork will be accepted at the AAA7 office in Rio Grande, Ohio until May 1, 2006.

A reception will be held Friday, May 26, 2006, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Esther Allen Greer Museum and Gallery for the participants, their guests, and Museum and Gallery visitors.
