What
is a Kinship Caregiver?
Kinship Caregiver refers to persons
caring full time for a relative or non-relative’s child and/or children
in their homes.
A
Kinship
Caregiver provides parental care to a child whose parents are unable or
unwilling to do so.
The Kinship Care arrangements could
be temporary or a permanent placement in a caregiver’s home.
Kinship Care includes those
relationships established through an informal arrangement, a legal custody
