HOPWA (Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS)
Primary goal of the H.O.P.W.A. program is meeting
the housing needs of low-income persons with AIDS or
related diseases, and their families.
Services assist low-income persons
living with HIV/AIDS to obtain and maintain
affordable housing.
Eligibility
Determined through an assessment
completed by the Area Agency on Aging District 7,
Inc. (AAA7) HIV/AIDS Case Manager
Ohio resident of Fayette, Gallia,
Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, or Scioto Counties
Proof of HIV status
Individual or family income that
is equal to or less than the median income for
county of residence
All information given to HIV/Case
Manager is protected by the guidelines of
confidentiality

Utility Payments, Rehabilitation Construction:

Health, Drug & Alcohol Dependency Treatment
and Counseling, Day Care , Nutritional
Services, Access to Government Benefits
